Personalised Avatar Making Tool This was the web based application based on LAMP stack and Flash action scripting. The essential thing was to personalise the avatar using his/her own face. The user used to upload his/her photograph. The system provided the facility by which user can cut his face from the photograph. These faces once cut would get stored in the system for later usage. The system had huge collection of animated avatars (animals, cartoon characters, etc.). User can select avatar of his/her choice and put his face on it. Then he can view himself like the selected avatar. We had implemented algorithms for Pixel Blending, hair trimming, hair coloring using Flash Action scripting.
